      Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching usually involves an  initial 12 week program of weekly one  hour sessions, face to face or over the  phone. Group coaching for  Organizations are tailored to meet  your needs.

In the first session we identify where your goals and objectives and discuss the parameters of the coaching agreement so all parties are clear on the expectations of the service being offered.

Your goals may relate to both your professional or personal life. Identifying your core values and beliefs is pivotal in ensuring that your goals are realistic and sustainable.

Typically, executive coaching tends towards dealing with issues ranging from change management or career advancement, to improving leadership skills - along with the challenges of maintaining high personal output with minimal stress. For this your coach employs a holistic approach taking into account the balance between personal and professional life and your health.

Fundamental to any issue is the thinking behind it, and much of our time is spent exploring different perspectives to create awareness of your thinking habits, capitalise on your strengths, maintain focus on solutions and create an action plan to meet your goals. And of course your coach is there to ensure you meet those objectives.

One of the major benefits cited by managers and executives is the opportunity to discuss and brainstorm any issue in complete confidence with an experienced, objective, unbiased and non- judgemental  "thinking partner", someone who is completely focused on you and your objectives.

Your coach has been an executive and is a business owner, so you will be in very capable company.

These are some of the common problems that executive clients have indicated:

  • A cycle of high functioning, productive, efficient work that is periodically broken by periods of high stress, the perceived inability to meet the demands of their work, fatigue, irritability with colleagues and significant others.

  • Feeling isolated with no one to really discuss these issues without fear of recrimination or being judged.

  • Most indicate a sense of failure during these periods.

  • All indicate the desire to prevent the frequency of the high stress periods and the need for better coping strategies.

The unique Blueprint for Success coaching style addresses all of these issues by helping you think more clearly and to recognise the triggers that prevent you from doing so normally. This may sound simple, but most of us lack the ability to think objectively about ourselves, or an issue we face.

The key to your success is in your coach's ability to unravel the mysteries of how your brain is wired to accomplish what ever it is that holds your strongest focus.

If problems are your focus that is what you will experience. If solutions are your focus,

Success will be your experience.

When I had a trial session with Sally on a friend's recommendation, I admit I was very skeptical about coaching - I thought it was some new age fad. What I didn't expect was finding resolution to a problem that had been on my mind for some time - in less than 15 mins she helped me see a clear way forward.

I now consider Sally to be a critical part of my team. Being the CEO in a family business has its stresses and it's great to be able to download and brainstorm in my sessions with Sally. I always come out with a much clearer mind.

Sally has coached our whole team and the benefits are obvious. Communication has improved most of all, there is an air of respect and trust that wasn't there before. We are a better team now, with less stress and more fun - and that seems to be showing up in our sales figures too.

At times coaching is challenging - having a coach is like having a mirror that speaks to you. There's no hiding though you do get to see all the other angles, through Sally's ability to probe, challenge and question until the solution becomes clear - and that is a real asset.

It amazes me that Sally can give me so much direction and focus without actually ever telling me what to do.
